A Facebook tab I created to advertise the iPad® app for Safari interactive magazine. Coded in HTML and making use of the print artwork, this tab provided the user with options to either purchase the app directly or to get further information from a custom-built website.

Safari interactive magazine – Twitter #YOLOsafari Hashtag

A concept I spearheaded to raise awareness of the Safari interactive magazine’s brand on Twitter. The idea was to source image links and videos that evoke a sense of adventure within the African context and piggyback on the famous YOLO (You Only Live Once) saying to create a unique Twitter hashtag for the Safari brand. The campaign ran over two consecutive Fridays, and provided us with extremely valuable insights about the strengths and weaknesses of Twitter as an advertising platform.

Africa Geographic – iPad App

We used Adobe’s Digital Publishing Suite to create the iPad® app editions of the Africa Geographic monthly print magazine for distribution through the App Store. We added additional value by integrating digital features such as audio, video, and interactivity.
